short video installation for meg kettelkamp’s summer 2022 collection

In Lacoste, France Summer of 2022, Morgan documented the process of the creation of painter and multi-medium artist Meg Kettelkamp. The short video showcased the process of dying fabric from natural materials around the vineyards and rural fields of southern France. The collection, being inspired by the look of the summer: linen, wrapped itself around themes of decay, transformation, and surrender. Taking inspiration from a short film installation at the LUMA, in Arles, France, this experimental film video uses nature and music to convey its tone. Shot and edited by Morgan Evans, this film was displayed at the Savannah College of Art and Design final Lacoste Summer showcase.
